Foshan Nanhai Nanyang Electric Motor. In 1987, Foshan Nanhai Nanyang Electric Motor & Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. was established. The company currently has more than 30,000 m² of factory space and is a member manufacturer of the China Industrial Electrical Appliance Fractional-Horsepower Motor Association. It is engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of motors, air curtains, motor parts, and small engineering machinery. The company has three subsidiaries: Nanhai Nanyang Electric Motor, Foshan Jianeng Electric Motor, and Foshan Wuhan University of Science and Technology Nanyang Joint Venture Company. The motor parts products of the company's Nanyang Electric Motor include: laminations for *YS, YU, YC, YY series; Y80–Y180 series; enterprise-standard NS, NU, NC, NY; lamination diameters from Φ24 to Φ560, with more than 300 specifications and a monthly output of 150,000–200,000 units. The company has * mold manufacturing equipment and designers, and can manufacture special * motor laminations for customers. Foshan Jianeng Electric Motor has an annual production capacity of 1 million kilowatts, obtained international IEC certification in 1999, and passed ISO9002 quality system certification in 2000. Its main products include FM series air curtains, air-conditioning motors, Y series and YJ series three-phase asynchronous motors, YEJ electromagnetic brake motors, YEZ three-phase conical rotor asynchronous motors, and various other * motors. In 2004, the company cooperated with Wuhan University of Science and Technology, using the university's high technology and combining it with the factory's strong machining capabilities to develop high-tech products such as vibrating road compaction tampers and box-type robotic systems for storage, transportation, and metering of powdered materials, all of which achieved good economic benefits, with some products even * overseas.
