Gree Electric Appliances Inc. of Zhuhai was established in 1991 and was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in November 1996. In its early days, the company mainly relied on assembling and producing household air conditioners. It has now developed into a diversified, technology-oriented global industrial manufacturing group, with industries covering two major fields: household consumer goods and industrial equipment.
